Who we are & What we do

Hawaii Baseball Academy players on fieldFounded in 2010, The Hawaii Baseball Academy is Hawaii’s premier baseball training organization. We are here to serve your baseball training needs! We are a private baseball club providing top level high school training to athletes who are determined to improve their skills. We offer individual lessons, small group and large group lessons. And because we are also the headquarters of the National Pitching Association (NPA) in Hawaii, we are uniquely positioned and equipped to help pitchers.

Individual Lessons

Our one-on-one lessons are a great way to work on a specific skill you want to improve. Each session is $40 per half hour.

How it works:

  1. Contact us first. Let us know what specifically you want to work on.
  2. Provide several dates and times you want.
  3. We’ll assign the best coach for your needs and setup a day and time to work with you.
  4. Payment is due before the lesson.

Parents are welcome to attend as observers and to discuss your athlete’s needs.

Small Group Lessons

Our small group lessons are one of the best ways to learn new skills from coaches and from other players. Small groups are usually four athletes or less. Each session is 1 hour.

How it works:

  1. Contact us and tell us what kind of instruction you need – pitching, fielding, hitting.
  2. Tell us your age and where you are currently playing (school, club, etc.)
  3. If you already have some players you want to take lessons with, let us know.
  4. We’ll set you up with the right coach and a time for your lessons.
  5. Payment is due before the session. We accept Paypal, cash and checks.

Parents are welcome to attend these small group lessons as observers.

12484650_10208607853859718_5832276068448194067_o-400x284Because we are the official Hawaii headquarters of the National Pitching Association (NPA), we are the only organization that is officially licensed to teach pitching mechanics, help pitchers gain velocity, learn more about proper nutrition and teach mental/emotional techniques that help improve a pitcher’s overall performance using the NPA approach.

We do not offer one-trick fixes, or overnight cures, or insanely new revolutionary approaches. Everything we teach as NPA representatives is data-backed, has been researched thoroughly and will help you become the pitcher you’ve always wanted to be. With hard work and by following the NPA approach, we can pretty much promise you that you will see huge, lasting and meaningful changes in your pitching performance.
